Sunday, February 14th is Valentine's Day. Traditionally, this day is celebrated as a day to express your love outwardly with a poem, love notes, simple gestures directed to that special someone in your life. Parents and children alike exchange sentiments with gifts wrapped in red ribbons, oversized teddy bears, heart shaped cards, heart shaped balloons, candy and of course Red ROSES!

Remembering our past helps us forge towards our future. African-Americans have made great strides in fighting for civil rights, equality and justice for all. Historical contributions to American history has left and indeliable mark by black inventors, lawyers, doctors and scientists.
February is the month we celebrate great men, President's Washington and Lincoln birthday. Reflections of Dr. Martin Luther King's speech, "I have a Dream", has paved the way for our children to become future President's of the United States.
A salute to Black history, may it forever change history. Let freedom ring, let freedom ring, thank God Almighty we are free at last!
